This year, I am working very hard to build my primary home business into a full time income. Part of that is providing my team with a high-level of support. One of the things I have committed to, is providing my team with as much support as I possibly can, which includes my knowledge, experience, and the business building tools I have found to be useful.

One idea I am contemplating is purchasing a reseller hosting account so that I can provide my team with free website hosting as a bonus for being a part of my team. Reseller hosting is essentially buying hosting space from a large hosting company and then redistributing the hosting space to other website owners. You can actually create a business within itself using reseller hosting, if you want to get into selling web hosting.

I currently have a multiple domain hosting account, so getting a reseller account would only be for the benefit of my team members at this point. To be clear, the web hosting I would provide would not be meant as a bribe to join my team, but rather one less expense my team members would have to worry about. I am thinking of providing the web hosting for free for at least the first year and then maybe charging a small fee after that (probably $5 per month, which is a bit less than standard hosting).

Doing this would enable me to setup Wordpress blogs for my team members (if they wanted to start blogging and branding themselves) or I could simply setup hosting for their business websites on their own domains. Then, after a year or so, when everyone’s business is growing, the reseller account could become another income stream for me. What do you think?
