It really just doesn’t do any more to just teach your family to reuse and recycle. There also all other types of things that you can do to teach your family to be less wasteful. I’m a big believer in caring for the environment and I think that you have to think a whole lot more about what you’re doing instead of just recycling plastic water bottles, or even reusing the same water bottle over and over again.
I’m constantly looking up ways for our family to be less wasteful by looking online with our clear internet service. I find all kinds of stuff that way and I’ve found all kinds of great stuff by doing that.
Just another way to be less wasteful, in my opinion, is to be more conscious of all the clothes that you buy. I know it sounds silly for a family on a budget, but I don’t automatically go for the really cheap clothes. Most of the time they don’t last very long and don’t end up being worth all that trouble any way! Besides, if you’re going to buy some new clothes, you might as well make sure that they’re good quality!

There are some cheap but good quality clothes you can buy if you are just meticulous enough and have a lot of time to spend searching for them. It’s very time consuming, yes, but worth it in the end when you find that “gem” of a buy. For those of us who really have to watch our diminishing incomes, this is one sure way to lessen stress on our budget.
