One of the defintions for passion is “a strong or extravagant fondness, enthusiasm, or desire for anything.” This is, of course, outside of the more colorful, amorous descriptions of the word. Ever since I was a child, I have had a passion for writing. I remember writing many stories as child, making color illustrations to support them, and then stapling it all together to complete my “books”. I took great pride in this process, especially when my mother would look upon me proudly after showing her yet another one of my creations. My love for writing continued throughout college, but for some reason I did not pursue that as my career path. Interestingly enough, I thought I would rekindle my love for writing by starting my blog… and then maybe even write a book someday. So, it came as a pleasant surprise that part of the PIPS training introduced writing articles as a means of building the business. I read through the details about the benefits that writing articles can bring to your business, but all I could think about was that this is yet another affirmation of Spirit guiding me. I have had a little voice in my head telling me that I should be writing for sometime now. It is something I think I was meant to do, and yet for some reason life lead me down a path that did not include it. Now here I am… building my own business that will also incorporate something that I love. I cannot tell you how thrilled I am… how inspired I am. I already have three ideas for articles and am working on the outlines! There is no question in my mind that I am doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing right now… each day simply confirms what I already know and drives me further towards my goals.
