Last month, I introduced My Power Mall and I included it in My Master Plan for 2008. So, I wanted to post an update on the opportunity and what I’m doing with it. I have to say, the more I learn about MPM the more I love it! It’s not only a unique and fantastic concept, the MPM community is also very focused on changing the world.

Right after my post last month, there was a change in the way My Power Mall works. MPM was designed to offer financial freedom to everyone for FREE. They offer complete training and amazing promotional tools at no additional cost to the members. And they don’t play any qualifying games – none of that “you have to have so many people on your team who are generating so much in volume before you get paid” garbage! But now you do have to do one thing to keep your My Power Mall business. You are now required to make just one purchase per month in your Mall (or through one of the MPM Local Merchants). There is no mandatory purchase amount. Just one purchase of something you need or want anyway. Just one purchase in one of the 1000+ stores in your Mall. Just one purchase from the millions of products and services available that you spend money on every day!

I’ll admit… at first, I was a little annoyed at the change. But, then I remembered I already purchase at least 2-3 things online every month anyway. And, with the many merchants available through My Power Mall, making those purchases through my mall instead will be a cinch. Not only that, having this new requirement will greatly benefit everyone’s business with the increased revenue. It really is a good thing!

I’ve really come to realize that Ginney Dye (MPM Founder) has genuinely created this opportunity to empower the members to make a difference. Their philosophy is “YOU CAN’T OUTGIVE THE UNIVERSE!” My Power Mall members have set a force in motion that can’t be stopped because we are doing it from a heart of GIVING! It’s truly incredible.

On the third day of training, I was encouraged to set up a business mall directly under my original mall that would be known as my “Giving Center.” It can be set up to help a particular Non-Profit or a Foundation that allows me to give to any organization I want to support. Here’s how it works… I set up my “Giving Center,” then I begin to share My Power Mall – directing people to my “Giving Center” website. As my team grows it will first pay my “Giving Center” and then it will pay me!

My sister blog Global Epiphany is all about ways you can make a difference in the world. It discusses topics and causes that speak to my heart. So, I setup the Global Epiphany My Power Mall as my “Giving Center” and have begun promoting that. My first goal is to generate enough revenue through my “Giving Center” to 1) sponsor a Hope Child through World Vision ($35/month) and to 2) become a monthly donor to World Wildlife Fund ($15/month). I’ll be making a difference in a child’s life who is living in a place that’s been devastated by HIV/AIDS and helping to conserve our environment and save endangered species all for $50 a month! Wow! Once I’ve reach that goal I have plans to expand the giving to St Jude, Habitat for Humanity, and more! The more my “Giving Center” makes the more monthly support Global Epiphany will provide to other charities and causes. And, I’ll post regular updates about how my “Giving Center” is doing and where the support is going on the GlobalEpiphany.com. I can’t even express to you how excited I am about this and what this means to me!
