I had a bit of a meltdown last night. Wait… let me back up and explain. I have been working very hard for the last several months building my online business. It is incredibly time consuming and damn near exhausting for someone like me – a mother of two also working a full time job! So, when track season (my daughter’s sport of choice) and my son’s recent bought of pneumonia hit me like a ton of bricks last month something had to give… of course, it was not my kids. So, I have spent the last week or two trying to regain my momentum.

So, when Affiliate of the Month launched this week I was very excited. I love Ewen Chia’s products because I have been consistently impressed with how much he provides for an often modest price. Affiliate of the Month (AOTM) did not disappoint me. I was completely surprised at the amount of new information he included [for a complete review of AOTM, please check out my Squidoo page]. One of the important steps Ewen emphasizes is the importance of planning. Specifically, he provides a sample of a “Fixed Affiliate Promotion Plan”. Now, being a person that thrives on organization, I was excited about this portion of the AOTM training course. Give me a plan and I am ready to roll. But wow… that sample plan blew my mind. Knowing how hard I am already working and how much more I would potentially have to do if I followed that sample completely overwhelmed me. I literally turned my computer off at 8pm! (I can’t remember the last time I’ve done that!) So, I spent all day today getting my head back on straight and reminding myself of my dedication and commitment.

So, I decided to rise to the challenge. I am going to create a modified version of the sample fixed affiliate promotion plan included in AOTM. As I work through the campaign I will post my progress and my results here. Wish me luck! I’m off to create my new fixed affiliate promotion plan…
