What’s TNX all about?

TNX is a link service that brings webmasters and advertisers together for their mutual benefit. The TNX advertising service helps website owners gain targeted traffic and boost their search engine rankings. Their webmaster publishing service provides a lucrative income opportunity for website owners. In addition, TNX strives to reduce the dependence on search engines and to improve the quality of the search results for TNX member websites. The TNX system is based on points and the cost of buying links is very reasonable. Currently, 1,000 points is about $1.50. This can get you one link on a PR 5 website or five links on PR 3 websites. Sound good? Well, there’s more!

When you visit the TNX website, you’re greeted with a cool blue theme and the advantages of joining as either a website publisher or an advertiser. There’s no cost to join and the registration form is incredibly easy to complete. A confirmation email is not required during the signup process, so you will be presented with the opportunity to login immediately. Once you’re logged in, you’re greeted with the TNX dashboard that includes the TNX system stats, helpful links, and a very easy-to-use side bar (see below).

For Webmasters:

Website publishers will find setting up their website is a breeze. The two-step process is simple: 1) add the code to your site, and 2) add your site to TNX. I wish everything were so easy! Installing the code to your site is usually a simple cut-n-paste process. However, TNX does provide a few trouble shooting tips in this section as well as live chat support and 24/7 support in their forum. Adding your site to TNX involves another easy-to-complete form where only the most basic information is required. It takes 1-3 days for your site to be approved.

One main advantage of the TNX system is that they offer you the ability to sell links on every page of your website, instead of just the main page. They can automatically sell links to thousands of advertisers for you, while still offering you the flexibility to choose the advertisers yourself and place only relevant site links on your site pages. Most text link marketplaces only offer the ability for advertisers to choose publishers. So, having a marketplace where publishers choose advertisers gives TNX members an incredibly versatile link building environment.

For Advertisers:

Creating an ad campaign is accomplished in only 3 steps, though I admit the panel and the process are a little more involved than the publisher panel. It includes setting certain parameters, such as site category, Yahoo Backlinks, Geo Targeting, and Google PageRank. TNX provides a convenient calculator that displays how many links you can get based upon your chosen parameters and your spending plan. You can then create your campaign in simple or advanced mode. Simple mode involves completing the form they provide. Advanced mode involves uploading a text file containing your ads or using their free Link Generator tool. This tool allows TNX members to create a variety of link anchor words so that the links appear very natural. This is a crucial link building factor when striving to boost your website rank on the search engines.

TNX advertisers will also need to fund their TNX account in order to run an ad campaign. The current price of 1,000 TNX-points is $0.75 – $1.50 depending on the quantity you buy. The basic price of $1.50 is if you buy points for less than $50. A 20% discount is offered for purchases of $50 and above, and a 50% discount is offered on purchases of $100 and above. When funding your account you should keep in mind that link prices are monthly. Funding methods are Paypal, bank wire, certified check or money orders. TNX also offers a money-back guarantee in case you are having trouble understanding how the TNX system works. TNX link prices are the lowest I’ve seen and probably on the market. For about $11 a month you may get up to 10,000 static links to your website! I think many advertisers will see the $100 funding option as the smartest option considering it provides 100,000 points with the 50% discount and the ability to build many, many links with a variety of PageRanks for a few months.

For Affiliates:

For those not interested in selling text links on their site, you can still benefit from being a TNX member. They offer an affiliate program that includes the ability to earn 13.3% of all the points generated by webmasters that you refer. You will also receive 5% of all payments made by advertisers you refer. And if you don’t want to use the points to advertise your own site, TNX offers you the option to sell the points (either to TNX or another user). They provide affiliates with banner ads and the ability to direct link on other sites, which is something I’ve never seen before. This feature allows you to link to the TNX main page and completely disguise the fact that your link is a referral link. Very cool.

There are a couple of issues…

Even though I find the TNX website to be a nice shade of blue (one of my favorite colors) it doesn’t grab me at first look. There’s just no pop. For a system as powerful as theirs the color doesn’t matter that much, but just a simple change to a more vibrant blue could make a big difference. Also, and this is a pet peeve of mine, the website copy has a few spelling and grammatical errors. I found a few on this page which I’m sure has been read quite a few times. However petty as it may seem, this makes the site appear less professional than it really is. My final issue involves the recent attack that Google has launched on paid linking and how it has scared many website owners. Although many credible sources have shown that Google cannot determine the difference between paid links and natural links (unless made blatantly obvious), TNX might want to include some articles on their site to address this issue. It may convert the nervous “on-the-fence” site visitors and perhaps calm the fears of any anxious current TNX members.

My final overall impression:

All-in-all, I found the TNX system to be incredibly intuitive. The easy-to-use user panels are a breeze compared to their competitor’s, LinkWorth. There strict advertising guidelines also set them apart and makes them more appealing. Knowing I won’t have to worry about getting links from gambling or spam sites is a relief! The absolute intelligence behind the linking system itself creates a powerful opportunity for many website owners to achieve traffic and rankings goals they may have been working towards for a long time. And the manner in which they build links and encourage members in the process (slowly and with varying anchor text) is fantastically smart. I believe this very critical factor gives them an edge over their other competitor, Text Link Ads. Knowing what a challenge it is to build links, I definitely recommend TNX. My first impressions…

I’ve really enjoyed Rob’s other products, so I was definitely expecting him to “bring it” with this latest ebook. When I first downloaded the Niche Annihilation Method ebook, I will admit that I was surprised to find it only contained 49 pages. I’m used to at least 60 pages, so I was disappointed when judging the book by it’s length. I wasn’t sure it was going to include the type of rich, innovative content I was hoping for.

After completing it, I realized…

Niche Annihilation Method is intended for the advanced Internet marketer. So, all of the “fluff” content has been omitted. He doesn’t hold your hand through tasks like setting up a Clickbank account or give you instructions on how to create a website – these things, he assumes, you already know. Niche Annihilation Method is full of straight forward, very specific niche marketing techniques that Rob has actually tested himself over the last six months. No theories here… just the nitty gritty details of the very methods that are making him thousands of dollars per day.

Sound interesting?  Here’s my summary:

Method #1 – Conversions, Conversions, Conversion
In this section, Rob gives you five detailed techniques he’s found that are successful in converting your website visitors into customers. He provides examples of the strategies he describes, specific ideas on how to implement them, and statistical data on the conversions he’s seen by using the exact techniques he shares in this section. This section was my favorite! He proved that some of the ideas I’ve been toying with (but haven’t yet tested) are monster converters, so I’m going to be implementing those immediately!

Method #2 – Search Engine Domination
This section includes tons of great information as well. Although he barely touches on “on-page” optimization, it includes strategies to boost your search engine rankings that I’d never even heard of before! One technique he calls “Shoot Now… Ask Questions Later” is a technique I will definitely use when I launch a product that I’ve been toying with creating lately. This technique explains how to set a firm foundation for your site before the launch and building phase, which gives you an awesome edge over the competition.

Method #3 – The Only Proven PPC Technique
This section surprised me because it was only a page and half. It includes only one method – “The Eliminator Method” – which Rob says is simple to use but admits it does take time. I’ve never used this technique, so I can’t say if it works from personal experience. I will admit I was hoping for a little more in this section, but Rob himself admits he is no Pay Per Click guru. So, I suppose you will have to check out the many other ebooks that focus on this method of marketing.

Method #4 – Super Charged Affiliate Program
This section is purely for those who are creating and marketing their own products. While I found his explanation of the difference between a niche site and an Internet marketing product very interesting, the rest of this section didn’t include anything I can use right away. It did give me a great deal of information on how to launch a product with an affiliate program “the right way” which is information I am grateful to have because it will no doubt ensure a successful product launch for me in the future.

Method #5 – The Backend Money Machine
This section is one of my favorites because he focuses on an area that a lot of marketers flat out neglect! He breaks down the facts and figures of a variety of “back end” sales processes, from “Bumps” to a “Recurring Membership.” I found the information very useful and am already thinking of ways I can implement these tactics into my current niche sites and affiliate campaigns.

Method #6 – Time Savers
For me, this section is about taking your business to the next level. Since there is only so much one person can do, Rob shares the time saving techniques he uses to ensure massive growth and profitability in his online business. I really valued this section, and have made some of the techniques part of my action plan for my Internet home business.

30 Day Blueprint to Niche Success
Although Niche Annihilation Method is definitely meant for the more advanced marketer, Rob took the time to include this section for anyone who might be just starting out or those who simply need a step-by-step action plan to marketing success. This section includes 50+ links to Rob’s personal tutorial videos that will take you from finding a niche market all the way to post product launch. Although I have more than a dozen niche sites, I’ve never actually created my own product so even I found some of this section useful.

I found that each section included truly valuable information and I appreciated the fact that Rob left out the filler BS that many ebooks feel compelled to include. He gets straight to the point and provides enlightened new information, clear examples, and stats you can sink your teeth into. I do think he should have spent more time on “on-page” SEO techniques, but I respect the fact that he didn’t feel it was needed. Aaron Wall’s SEO Book Training Program can provide you with the very best SEO tools and information, hands down. I will also admit that I craved a bit more in the PPC section, but have yet to try the one technique he devoted to it, so who knows – it could be a real monster and then I will gain a new understanding of why he did what he did. Perry Marshall is the absolute authority on Google Adwords, so I recommend signing up for his free 5 Days To Success ecourse, if you want more information on that topic. My personal favorite Adwords resource for affiliate marketers is Adwords Miracles by Chris McNeeney.

All-in-all, I HIGHLY recommend getting a copy of Niche Annihilation Method so that you will be armed with a brand new arsenal of tools to take your niche marketing to a whole new level in 2008.

First, you don’t get just one ebook – you get FIVE – each one based on a different topic. The first e-book is on niche marketing which I found really helpful. It covers things like how to identify hungry niche markets and where to look for them. The second e-book is all about Google AdWords and details pretty much everything you need to know. It’s very thorough and it also includes Chris’ “Google’s Slap Workaround.”

Then there’s an ebook on SEO which details all the methods that Chris uses to get his websites to the very top of the search engines. There were a lot of techniques that weren’t exactly new to me since I know a little about SEO and have used them myself. The final ebook is on CPA (Cost-Per-Action) programs. Now, I have promoted some CPA programs, but I’m always looking for new ways to improve my results. This ebook will likely be considered a goldmine for many.

After the main product package I got to ‘The Tools’ section of the download page. It contains a website builder (which requires an additional payment), 85 niche websites, 50 blog sites and templates and more than 200 Private Label Rights and Master Resell Rights products that you can start selling immediately!! Now that’s a lot of stuff for just $67!!

It would be best to focus on one thing at a time instead of trying to tackle everything at once. There is a ridiculous amount of content that is solid and very useful (especially for newbies) but even more advanced marketers should be able to learn something new as well. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Here’s what I think…

I was impressed right off the bat with the number of pages – 118 of them! I wondered WHY this was free and not carrying a $97 price tag like most reports of this size. But, hey I’m certainly not complaining.

Overall, I think the report is a good read. I came away with a few golden nuggets of new information. I will say this, his writing style is unique. You definitely get a feel for who Alex Jeffreys is since he includes several personal insights into his life (maybe that’s why the report is free – can you say “branding” perhaps?). Post Launch Profits takes you through the lessons he’s learned after his successful product launch this time last year and he tells you just how he made over $100,000!

The neat thing about this report is Alex is just a regular guy (well, not so much anymore after his success this past year). He used to work a “normal” job as a construction worker and then he started making some pretty good money with eBay. Then he found a way to build a six figure online business in less than a year through consistent and persistent action… and he’s telling you how he did it in this report! So, I definitely recommend you grab your copy of this report right away – hey, it’s free, so why not?

My first impression of Project Quick Cash was that Alok might be setting himself up for failure. He claims you won’t need any special skills or technical abilities to implement the techniques he outlines. I personally found this hard to believe since many aspects of Internet marketing require some skill or technical ability, so I felt like I needed to prepare myself to be let down.

I couldn’t have been more wrong…

Project Quick Cash contains five different techniques that are completely fresh and new! Four out of five of them were unlike anything I had ever heard of before. I’ve outlined a summary of the techniques and my impressions of them below:

1. Cashing The Spike Part 1 – This technique details how you can capitalize on keywords that have suddenly become popular on the search engines. Alok tells you exactly how to find these words, how to pick the right ones, and how to monetize them. He even goes as far as providing a link to a tool that makes this technique super easy to implement. When I read this section I was immediately excited by the possibilities! In doing a little more research, I found the profit potential here to be incredible and the setup time to be reasonably short (and it gets even shorter as you repeat it over a few campaigns).

2. Cashing The Spike Part 2 – This techniques is similar to part 1 except in the type of word you capitalize on and how you monetize it. Although I wasn’t as excited about this technique as I was part 1, I did come up with a way I could make it even more profitable! My favorite part of this technique is that Alok provides you with a super powered traffic generation method too.

3. Underground Niche Profits - The basic premise of this technique involves finding a non-Internet Marketing niche to target, which is something many marketers have already thought of. However, Alok explains how to target a specific type of product within a niche and he goes into step-by-step detail on exactly how to promote it. This technique doesn’t cost a dime to setup but it will take a bit more time to cultivate, in my opinion. Despite that, it’s my favorite of all five techniques because you can target a niche you’re already interested in which makes the time required fun and profitable!

4. Super Placement Targeting – This technique involves using Google Adwords in a way I had personally never thought of before. Alok provides step-by-step instructions on how to implement this technique, complete with screenshots. He even offers some helpful Adwords tips and some very useful recommendations when you first start a campaign of this kind. I have to say that this technique blew me away because the implications for Pay Per Lead affiliate campaigns is explosive!

5. Leeching On A Launch – This is the one of the four techniques I already knew about and have used successfully in the past. More experienced Internet Marketers will probably not find anything new in this section. Alok does provide you with the absolute best methods to use when implementing this technique and he even gives you the links to the most popular JV Networks (which makes targeting a product launch super easy). This technique alone has made more than $600 in a 24 hour period in the past.

In summary, I found Project Quick Cash delivers on its promises. The techniques are fresh and new and by far the most innovative I’ve come across in the past several months. Most of the techniques don’t require any special knowledge to set-up and those that do, Alok provides step-by-step instructions. However, I would rate this guide as intermediate when it comes to skill level because it is my opinion that marketers with some experience (with affiliate marketing, Google Adwords, blogs, basic webpage building, Google Adsense, and forum marketing) will be able to implement these techniques with greater ease than complete beginners. Overall, I highly recommend Project Quick Cash if you want to take a break from building your Internet home business and just generate some fast cash!
