Chris McNeeney will be releasing his newest product tomorrow, June 19th, and its called Project Black Mask. You’ve probably heard the saying “content is king” when it comes to website development and search engine optimization. It’s true - search engines like Google absolutely devour fresh, unique content so anyone interested in having a successful Internet home business will have to consider their options when it comes to website content development.

Essentially, you have 3 solid website content development options:

1. Purchase private label rights (PLR) content. Many people choose this option because it eliminates the need to do research for any content or articles you might write yourself. You simply tweak or revise your PLR content and use it for your site. You can also submit revised articles to site directories, but it is important that you revise at least 75% of the content to make it your own and avoid having any problems with duplicate content. 2. Hire someone to write for you. This option often depends upon your marketing and/or site development budget since you will be paying someone to develop your content. However, these days, you can obtain good written copy for as low as $7 per article (400-600 words) and “okay” copy for even less. 3. Write your content yourself. Many people assume that they cannot write their own site content because they believe they lack the ability. In reality, it is actually not as difficult as it used to be to develop a decent writing ability to be a successful Internet marketer. The software almost writes your articles for you, though revisions should be made to avoid copywrite infringement and to ensure your work is fresh and your own.

Between these three options website content development is now faster and easier than ever. Many Internet marketers, like myself use a combination of the three depending on the project and time and budget constraints. Carefully consider the pros and cons of each website content development option when determining what is best for you and your website.

There are many amazing courses on list building available for you to help you learn this extremely important aspect of your business. As you know, your list will prove to be your most valuable asset.

What many of these courses fail to mention, is that there is another great source for building a list, and that is JV Giveaways. This may very well be the most overlooked and underutilized list building technique.

A JV Giveaway is a site where members contribute a product to the site so that other members can download it for their personal use. How this builds your list is that if someone wants to download your product, they have to opt-in to your newsletter.

The best part is that it doesn’t cost anything to become a contributor and you can gain anywhere from a couple of hundred to a couple thousand subscribers from each JV Giveaway
that you participate in. Now, in my opinion, this has to be the single most easiest way to build yourself a list, especially if you don’t have one yet. Since all the contributors are required to promote the site, some giveaways end up having tens of thousands of members all there to download products.

There is also incentive for contributors to promote the giveaway since their ranking on the gifts page is directly proportionate to the amount of referrals they bring to the site. Even if you don’t have a list to promote to, you still will gain a decent amount of subscribers even at the bottom of the page.

Now, you may be wondering what is required of you to become a contributor so you can build your own list. All you need is a website, an autoresponder, and a product that you want to donate to the site. That’s it! In some cases, you don’t even need a website, but only the autoresponder. However, if you want to make a good impression on your new subscriber, it’s better to have your own website.

There are a couple of guys named Jason Dinner & Mike Mazzella who have built lists of their own in the thousands using JV Giveaways and they collaborated on a project to show you how
you can do the same.

Have you heard of Squidoo? I’ve just been learning more about it myself and I love everything I’m seeing so far. Not only does Squidoo have some really great Web 2.0 webpages (called “lenses”) full of interesting and helpful information, but Squidoo can be used as a marketing technique for your Internet home business as well.

Here’s some basic info about Squidoo:

• It’s free. Always.
• You can make an interactive, Web 2.0 webpage in about 10 minutes
• The philosophy behind the site is collaborative.
• And you can use it to promote whatever business, expertise, service, or hobby you wish!

Now although it’s free, and relatively easy to get started, it’s great to have help in making sense of everything you can do with the site. I’ve been learning how to use the site a lot faster with the help of Bob The Teacher.

Bob really knows what he’s talking about. He’s had a lens hit #1 on the site, was picked for Lens of the day a couple of times, and was even highlighted in the New York Times for his expertise in a really weird topic. With Bob’s help, I’m learning how to take this free service and use it for affiliate marketing, list building, expertise branding, and promoting my business. It’s great!
