I have been working very hard to stay on track with my Affiliate of the Month promotion plan. I have already implemented the following promotional methods: online classifieds, email marketing, forums, squidoo, traffic exchanges, banners, and some social bookmarking. I had THREE of my links on the first page of Google last week - my squidoo page, a PPC click on the top sponsor box, and my craigslist ad. Although I haven’t been able to keep up with the article marketing goal I set, I still feel that I have given this promotion a strong push thus far. All the tracking I have done confirms that I am getting traffic from all these sources… so, I am disappointed to report I haven’t made even one sale yet! Honestly, not only am I disappointed to report that… I am perplexed by it.

Affiliate of the Month is truly a high quality product. I have gained so much value from the videos and modules 2 & 3 of the training course. And, since the price is not unreasonable I’m not sure why it’s not converting. I had a constant flow of sales for Ewen’s previous product, Autopilot Profits, with about half the effort. And in my sincere opinion, AOTM offers much more. I checked it’s status on Clickbank and it appears to simply just not be doing well overall. It’s gravity is just over 66%, which is not very good at all for a fairly new product from a well respected Internet marketing guru. I’m not sure why people don’t seem too impressed by it at this point, but I’m not giving up on it just yet. I’m going to give it another couple of weeks. If I still don’t get any conversions and the product gravity continues to decline I will have to call the challenge a wash.

Any successful marketer will tell you that an important piece to the success puzzle is not putting all of your eggs in one basket. So, although Affiliate of the Month is NOT doing what I expected, it will not kill my Internet business. I have other promotions currently going on and other plans for the upcoming weeks. I am VERY excited about an upcoming product launch by Andrew Hansen. I have been beyond satisfied with Andrew’s other products: Niche Marketing on Crack and Article Speed Writing. I highly recommend both. Rarely do you find reports or ebooks that really provide you with a system that you can feel the power of immediately and can then put into action right away. I am creating a marketing strategy using his NMOC technique and the power of the Niche Inspector program to take my affiliate marketing efforts in a whole new direction. I will elaborate on that very soon…
